Computer networking is the term used to describe the interconnection of computing devices that have the ability to exchange data and share resources among themselves. Whereas, a local area network (LAN) is composed of a group of computers connected together to form a network within a limited geographical area. Therefore, this module provides a brief introduction to the course followed by a detailed exploration of fundamental networking concepts, with a specific focus on Local Area Networks (LANs).
